I closed my blog down for a while, trying to put the pieces of my life back together. Actually even thought I deleted the blog, but I was so happy to come back and see the option of "UN-deleting" it!! I've missed blogging and all the people and other blogs!! So, I am back! I probably wont be updating often, but I will be around.
To update my life.....
I am back in school, finishing my degree in Health Administration. I am still a single mom of 5 and plan to stay that way for a very long time. Not saying never, but for right now, I am happy with my life. I am very busy with all the kids, and my grand daughter that is due on October 16th is coming THIS WEEK!!! My daughter will be induced this Thursday and I can't wait!!!
I am also working a temporary, but full time, job right now also, so between school, work, kids, and a new grand baby.... my head is spinning!! But, I can say, I am happier than I have ever been. I have let go of all the anger, we are both now focusing on the kids and making them the priority in our lives.
I hope to catch up with all my favorites in bloggy land over the next couple of days... I can't wait!!! I've missed you all!!
As you all know, I am job hunting, desperately searching for ANYTHING that pays and has a little benefits. I did not get one of the jobs I interviewed for last week, because I am overqualified. People, don't you understand that at this point I would clean stalls at a horse barn, or scrub toilets in a mens bathroom, on my hands and knees.... for next to nothing??? I NEED A JOB!!!! I'm not picky, my criteria are...pays money? has insurance? I'LL TAKE IT!
Oh well, on with the search....
If anyone has any ideas, PLEASE, send them my way!!!
I do not enjoy being at the mercy of the one who walked out, at all. A heads up would have been nice so I could have prepared my life a little. Had a job lined up maybe? A vehicle that ran worth a crap? Oh, and, anyone out there reading this...is it wrong that I can't be friends right now????? I can't even be NICE, much less friends!!! Could you? Does that make me crazy? I just don't think so. That old saying, "if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all", I try, really I do. Sorry guys, today I just feel like ranting!

Had a GREAT day yesterday. First I had a really good 45 minute interview with 3 different people...I think it went well. But, they said I was over qualified and it paid a lot less than I was making before. But, I have another one today with another company! =)
The highlight of my day yesterday though, was getting to see my precious new granddaughter via 3D ultrasound!!!
I had posted about the major turn my life has taken, but then in a knee jerk reaction I deleted it. I will just say this....
I am now learning how to be a single mom of 5. But let me tell you what I have discovered about myself in this short week. I am strong. I am loved by many. I was unhappy, but didn't realize it. I am going to be ok. I am happy. I have many friends. My kids are amazing. Life goes on. =)
So, bear with me while I sort this all out. I may not post regularly for a while. I am job hunting, cleaning out closets, the garage, the attic, and every other crook and cranny of my life and home. I thought about deleting my blog, but I'm not going to. I love blogging and will continue to do so.
I feel really good, I am at peace, and I am confident in the road ahead. I even have a job interview on Thursday... I'll let you know how it goes! =)
Also, my daughter and I still have the Etsy shop and I slashed all the prices today...most by $10. So if you are in need of an adorable fluffy baby quilt, don't forget to check there first!
